Hey, guys. I made this so I wouldn't be crapping up the artist's description when I post my first chapter of Tales of Magical Muffin Land (which is right after I post this journal). I am naturally VERY nervous, because my writing has always been personal and this is the first time I'm letting stuff out in the public for people to read. But it's for a good cause... I won't get better at writing if I don't get feedback and support, y'know?

Anyway, there are some facts about the ToMML universe so no confusion can be had. Also, it'll make me feel better about posting this if I can explain it, and also you'll know what you'll be reading rather than jumping right in to a tsunami of WHAT THE MUFFINS IS THIS PERSON SMOKING?!

k.

1. Tales of Magical Muffin Land is in the Fantasy genre.

2. ALL LIVING CHARACTERS HAVE WINGS. They are usually birdlike or angel-like. The color reflects the person's soul: a good person has white wings, and a corrupted person has black wings. Sometimes there are in betweens, in which the opposite color appears as veins in the wings. The only thing excluded in this would be plants, but instead of wings, they have white or black bases at the bottom of their trunks. In saying that "All living characters have wings", dead or nonliving things do not have wings (I.E. Puppet from chapter 1).

3. "Fuzzy Ninjas" and "Magical Muffins" is simple terminology from my childhood to describe citizens of a certain area of Magical Muffin Land. Fuzzy Ninjas are not legitimate Asian ninjas; they just work for the Fuzzy Ninja Lord, and Magical Muffins are not pastries with clairvoyant powers; they are simply the people that live in the Kingdom. There are, however, flying muffin creatures, like in my ID.

4. Tales of Magical Muffin Land is neither set in a medieval era or a modern era. It's kind of in the middle. Electricity is a thing, but there are no actual electric vehicles to get to places (as people have wings to fly with) and luxuries such as television and video games are nonexistent. The Magical Muffin Kingdom tends to have less technology, while the Fuzzy Ninja territory contains more technology, primarily for wartime weapons (experiments, monsters, machines). Bullet shooting guns are not a thing in this story. Also, monarchy = / = medieval.

5. There are human characters, but there are also animal characters that are pretty much anthros (moreso modern anthros, by definition). This means they have regular hands, eyes, and feet, but they still have animal characteristics such as fur and fluffy ears and etc. There are also regular, devolved animals that live in various habitats, such as simple rabbits or deer.

6. Fur = / = junk showing. In real life, don't see a cat's junk when you look at one. Fur is a natural covering, therefore, "naked" anthro characters (Ruby with her first appearance, Rosagi in his) in this story pretty much show nothing. Take a look at my arts for references. (You are free to imagine otherwise, but that'd be weird and dumb down the original point I have on the story)

7. Magic is a thing. In fact, magic is a big thing. It does not play too big of a role in the beginning of the story, but the characters learn to understand it and use it more later on.

If I forgot anything, I'll add on to it later.

Please enjoy my story, everyone. <3
